Amy Wescott
Vice President
Amy joined Philanthropy Missouri (PhilMO) in 2021 as the Director of Services for Southwest Missouri to help pilot the expansion of PhilMO services into southwest Missouri, the region she has called home for 25 years. In 2022, she was promoted to Vice President. Prior to her role at Philanthropy Missouri, Amy worked for ten years as a freelance editor and writer for individuals, businesses and nonprofits. She also served six years as an adjunct college instructor of business communications and has delivered communications training to business professionals, both regionally and nationally. Amy earned her undergraduate degree in English from Baylor University.
Actively engaged in her community of Branson, Missouri, Amy has served as a board member for a variety of nonprofit organizations including the Ozark Mountain Family YMCA, Ozarks Regional YMCA, and Elevate Branson. She was also a founding board member of Faith Community Health, a low-cost health center for the uninsured and underinsured, now Hope Counseling Center. She currently serves on the board of the Silver Dollar City Foundation and CoxHealth Branson. Amy was recognized by the Springfield Business Journal as one of the "20 Most Influential Women - 2022" and was in the Missouri Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Missouri class of 2023.
Amy and her husband have lived in Branson for 25 years and have two amazing young-adult daughters.
