Elphanie “Sissy” Swift

Sissy has over 30 years of nonprofit management experience. She has worked in addictions, homeless services and child welfare. Her most recent employment was as the Executive Director of The Child Advocacy Center, a nonprofit that fights to have the voices of abused children heard. Sissy maintains her nonprofit work as a board member of Preferred Family Healthcare and Brightli, one of the largest behavioral health and addiction treatment providers in the US. She holds a Master’s Degree from Webster University in Management and Leadership. She is a graduate of Vision Leadership St. Charles and FOCUS St. Louis’ Women In Leadership Program. She is currently a member and serves on the Board of Directors for Athena Leadership Foundation of St. Charles County.
As the Director of Grants and Community Initiatives, Sissy oversees all grant opportunities in support of YouthBridge’s goals and strategies. She is responsible for and manages all grantmaking programs, special projects and technical assistance. In addition, Sissy is responsible for the management of special initiatives and projects including those in collaboration with other funding partners.
