Pre-Summit Activities

Optional Site Visits in Buffalo, Missouri (11:30am - 4:30pm)

Audience: PhilMO Members, Non-Member Funders, and Rural Partners

Buffalo is a rural community about 30 minutes north of Springfield. This experience will include an introduction to Buffalo over lunch, led by representatives from the Dallas County Community Foundation, followed by visits to collaborative community projects. More details are coming soon!

Optional Pre-Summit Social (5:30 - 7:30pm, Oasis Convention Center)

Audience: All Summit Registrants

Join us for a relaxed gathering designed to give you the opportunity to connect with old friends and make some new ones!

Rural Philanthropy Summit: Creating Thriving Communities

Join your funder peers and rural partners who are interested ensuring a thriving rural Missouri for a day of connection and learning. Hear from rural experts and seasoned practitioners including:

We welcome any Funder who invests in Missouri to register for this event, whether you are currently funding in rural Missouri or are interested in learning more. We also welcome Rural Partners, such as community action agencies, regional planning commissions, governmental agencies, chambers of commerce, community partnerships, regional associations, academic institutions, and other infrastructure organizations.
