Program Description
Join us for a Philanthropy Missouri "People in Philanthropy" luncheon at Sabroso Cocina Mexicana in Maplewood!
This is the second regional location for this restaurant which aims to educate about Mexican culture through food. Born in the Mexican state of Tabasco, Chef and Co-Owner Miguel Pintor grew up in México City helping with his mother's taco stand. When he landed in St. Louis, he worked his way from line-cook gig at a fast-casual chain to culinary director at Mission Taco Joint to now co-owner of two Sabroso Cocina location with his wife, Brandin Maddock.
Program participants will enjoy a selection from the full Sabroso Cocina menu, which celebrates the flavors of southeast and central México. Note: our food will be prepared to order, making it important all participants arrive in a timely manner so we can order together.
This informal networking event is open to all PhilMO Members (no additional cost; log-in to register) and Non-Member grantmakers ($65/person; email info@philmo.org to register).
Space is limited and, to allow time for the kitchen to prepare, swift registration is encouraged. Registration will close when full or by Friday, October 11.
