Gateway Center for Giving is pleased to announce the release of the 2019 edition of “Dollars and Sense: A Report on Major Funding Campaigns in the St. Louis Region.” This report provides a snapshot of existing and contemplated funding campaigns and helps to inform grantmakers about the detail and scope of initiatives that are being considered, currently underway, or recently completed. The report also allows grant-seeking organizations to better understand the climate in which they are raising funds, and it serves as a useful tool for organizations conducting development feasibility studies.
Thirty-seven nonprofit organizations are listed in this year’s edition. Key takeaways include a new fundraising total goal for 2019 ($805M) that is double the total dollar goal set in 2018 ($381M); and a robust number of organizations launching or considering launching new capital and endowment campaigns this year (21).
Contact Gateway Center for Giving to obtain your copy (free to GCG Members, and $15 for the Public Version of the report) at www.centerforgiving.org/capital-campaign-report. This year’s “Dollars and Sense” Report is generously sponsored by U.S. Bancorp Community Development Corporation.
