Missouri Foundation for Health (MFH) was recently featured in a national article about the role foundations are playing in understanding and addressing Covid-19 vaccine hesitancy.
In the fall of 2020, MFH supported data gathering to better understand Missourians’ feelings and perceptions about the anticipated COVID-19 vaccines. Data were collected statewide and focused on rural residents, including rural Black and Hispanic adults. The results include findings about vaccine hesitancy in key communities and provide suggestions for messaging to these groups to decrease the barriers to vaccination.
